    One of Japan's three most beautiful gardens. In spring, the park is filled with blooming plum blossoms, and you can enjoy a spectacular view of the garden and the cityscape of Mito from the Kobuntei Pavilion.
  • Besshunkan
    A museum where you can learn about the history of plum wine and sake, and a popular spot for brewery tours.
    *Drinking alcohol under the age of 20 is prohibited in Japan. Excessive drinking is harmful to your health.
  • Amabiki Kannon Temple
    An ancient temple where about 300 Kawazu cherry trees bloom, known as a beautiful flower spot where the temple grounds are dyed in spring colors.

  • At Mito Kairakuen, it will be a 10-minute walk (approximately 850 meters of flat road) from the bus parking lot to the entrance of the garden. Please wear comfortable shoes and comfortable clothing.

  • The best time to see the flowers may vary depending on weather conditions. Departure dates are set based on the usual time of year, but please note that the flowers may not be at their best on the day of departure. If you cancel your tour reservation due to the flowering situation, you will be charged a cancellation fee. *Usual best time to see the flowers: Plum blossoms: late February to mid-March / Kawazu cherry blossoms: late February to mid-March
