Located right across from the entrance of the Izumo City Hall Kusunoki Plaza, 'Hakataya!' is a retro-style izakaya housed in a renovated traditional folk house. As the name suggests, it is a place where you can enjoy authentic Hakata flavors in Izumo. By combining carefully selected fresh ingredients shipped from Hakata with local San'in ingredients, we have created a 'Motsunabe' that retains its original savory flavor while evolving into something even more appealing. You can also enjoy a variety of Hakata local dishes. Despite being a casual izakaya, you can feel the refined taste in our selection of drinks and menu items.
If you are visiting Izumo for sightseeing, be sure to visit our restaurant! You can enjoy Izumo soba noodles, local fresh fish, and other delicacies from the sea and mountains of Shimane.
