[About rental ski, snowboard and clothing sizes]
Regarding taxis, if there are four or more people, a jumbo taxi will be used as ski equipment will need to be carried inside the vehicle.
When loading your skis, snowboards, and rental items (skis, snowboards, boots) into a taxi, please make sure they are placed in a case. We ask for your cooperation in ensuring safety inside the vehicle. Please refrain from boarding the taxi wearing ski boots, so please place them in a boot case and leave them as luggage. After arriving at the ski resort, please change into your ski boots in a changing room or similar location. You can board the taxi wearing your snowboard boots.
Once you arrive at the ski resort, we cannot store your luggage or other belongings in the taxi, so please use the coin lockers (fees apply). Similarly, when returning, please ensure that your skis, snowboards, and rental items are kept in their cases when boarding the taxi.
The travel times listed on this page are estimates only, and arrival times will vary depending on the ski resort.
If your return time is significantly delayed due to road conditions or other reasons and you are unable to use trains or other public transport, we will not accept claims for taxi fares, accommodation fees, etc.
There is no guided tour by taxi drivers.
No tour conductor will accompany the tour.
Smoking is prohibited inside taxis.
The meeting time at the local ski resort is 10 minutes before departure time.
Taxi company used: Chuo Taxi
Any decision to cancel the tour due to lack of snow will be made up to the day before departure.
Regarding lift tickets, children must be junior high school students or younger. Lift fees for preschool children are free, but they must have a lift ticket issued. The issuance fee varies by ski resort (0-500 yen). Please present your child's ID to receive the lift ticket. Some ski resorts include a deposit, which will be refunded when you return the lift ticket on site.

This private skiing tour offers a selection of six distinct Hakuba ski resorts. You can choose from Hakuba Cortina Ski Resort, Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort, Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort, Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort, Hakuba Happo-one Ski Resort, and Able Hakuba Goryu & Hakuba47 Winter Sports Park. Each resort presents unique terrain and atmosphere suitable for various skill levels and preferences.
When choosing a Hakuba ski resort for your day trip, consider your skiing or snowboarding skill level, the type of terrain you prefer (e.g., beginner slopes, advanced runs, powder), and whether you need specific facilities like terrain parks. It's also wise to check current snowfall and weather conditions for your preferred resort in advance, which can be done on the Snow Hub Nagano website, to ensure optimal enjoyment.
A Hakuba private ski tour package typically includes comfortable round-trip transportation by chartered private taxi from Nagano Station directly to your chosen ski resort. Depending on the selected plan, it can also encompass high-quality ski or snowboard equipment rentals and lift tickets. This comprehensive approach ensures a hassle-free experience from arrival at Nagano to enjoying the slopes. You can easily select a suitable package through KKday, which offers convenient booking and allows you to customize your experience with essential inclusions.
The private chartered taxi service provides direct, comfortable transfers from Nagano Station to your chosen Hakuba ski resort. You will meet at Travel Base Nagano City, conveniently located about a two-minute walk from Nagano Station. From there, you will travel in a private vehicle, such as an Alphard or spacious van, ensuring a relaxed and efficient journey directly to the slopes and back to Nagano at the end of your day without the hassle of public transport.
Ride-sharing services like Uber are generally not commonly available or widely used for transportation within the Hakuba valley. Visitors typically rely on local taxi services, scheduled shuttle buses that connect the various resorts and villages, or sometimes hotel-provided transfers for getting around the area. Planning your local movements in advance is recommended.
To travel between different ski resorts within Hakuba, you can utilize the local public shuttle buses which operate regularly during the winter season, connecting major resorts and village areas. Local taxi services are also an option for more direct or flexible transfers, especially if you are traveling with a group or prefer private transport. Many accommodations also offer their own shuttle services to nearby resorts.
While some local taxi services operate into the late evening within Hakuba ski resort areas, their availability might be more limited compared to daytime hours, especially outside the main village hubs. It is advisable to book taxis in advance for late-night transportation, particularly during peak season or for specific routes, to ensure timely service and avoid long waits.
The private chartered taxis used for transfers to Hakuba ski resorts, often high-comfort vehicles like Alphards or similar spacious vans, are chosen for their amenities. They typically offer comfortable seating, ample luggage room for all your ski and snowboard equipment, and a private environment. This ensures a relaxed and comfortable journey from Nagano Station, allowing you to prepare for your day on the slopes or unwind afterward.
