The most important thing about the Starlight Tour is where you see it.
Most stargazing tours in Guam are conducted on the beach.
The starlight tour at the beach also has many attractive points.
Rather than saying which is better than which, I would like to tell you that the stargazing tour at Nimitz Hill has a different charm from the stargazing tour at the beach.
✅ Attractive points of the Nimitz Hill Starlight Tour
1. Optimal conditions for viewing starlight in three dimensions
→ Because it is high, it is closer to the sky, so the stars appear larger, and because it is open on all sides, you can view the constellations in any direction, east, west, south, or north.
→ There is no better situation to enjoy the stars than this, as there are not many people, it is quiet, and you can lie down comfortably and enjoy it.
2. Photos taken by a professional photographer
→ You should capture the starlight in your heart, and capture the moment you gaze upon it in a photograph. A professional photographer for Starlight Tours will take your photos.
3. BBQ lunch box option available
→ Since the Starlight Tour schedule overlaps with dinner time, there are situations where you are unsure whether you should eat dinner before going or eat after coming back.
Dinner at a fancy restaurant is nice, but a BBQ lunch while watching the sunset and stars is also quite romantic.
You can choose whether to include or exclude the lunch box.
1. What is the product composition?
We run two starlight tours a day.
1) Sunset & Starlight Tour (Summer 5:10 PM - 8:30 PM / Winter 4:40 PM - 8:00 PM)
This tour is available during a time slot where you can enjoy both the sunset and the stars.
The sunset seen from Nimitz Hill is one of the attractions, so if you want to enjoy both the sunset and the stars, this is recommended.
However, since the time is dinner time, you must eat dinner beforehand or eat it when you come back.
Of course we provide ramen, but it may not be in sufficient quantity.
2) Starlight Tour (Summer 19:40-23:00 / Winter 19:10-22:30)
This is a tour where you can appreciate the starlight more deeply.
Because the night is deeper, photos tend to come out prettier.
The time zone is also good for a tour schedule that ends the day with dinner.

2. Where can I see the stars?
We are located on Nimitz Hill overlooking Apra Harbor and Asan Beach, offering panoramic views of Guam's blue ocean.
It is a place where you can enjoy the stars in a quiet and calm atmosphere, as it is far from the city center and there is no surrounding noise.
The parking lot is well-equipped, so if you want to go there yourself, you can rent a car.
3. What are the benefits of a stargazing tour at Nimitz Hill?
1) Enjoy a three-dimensional starlight tour
Nimitz Hill is also a very important area in Guam's history.
In the Pacific War between the United States and Japan, it was crucial to secure Guam first, so they fought fiercely, and the fiercest battle of the fierce battles took place on this hill.
As we all know, this battle ended in victory for the American forces, and the hill was named Nimitz Hill after Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, who was the commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet at the time.
The reason this hill was important was because controlling it afforded a commanding view of the major ports and both sea and land routes.
It is a heartbreaking history, and while Nimitz Hill was a military stronghold for military reasons, Starlight Tour has a different purpose, but for the same reason, it is an environment where you can enjoy Starlight Tour better.
And because it's a hill, the sky is closer, so the stars look bigger.
You can tell the difference by comparing the stars you see from the beach to the stars you see from the hill.
The red-tinged sunset, the Afra Harbor and Asan Beach overlooking / Fish Eye, and the sky is open, so you can enjoy a three-dimensional stargazing tour rather than a fragmented viewing, such as viewing many constellations.
2) You can select points that fit the situation on the day.
There are a total of four photo spots on Nimitz Hill.
Which section from A to D to use depends on factors like the weather on the day, how many people are using it, and whether the group consists of couples or families.
Each section has a different feel to the photo.
Not only do the photos feel different, but the size and atmosphere of the stargazing location also differ, so we will prepare for the better section depending on the situation on the day so that you can create memories.
3) Four photos of your life taken by a professional photographer!
A photographer who has been running star tours for many years and is optimized for starlight tours will take your photos.
When taking a photo, the photographer's skills are important, but the weather on the day, the user's attitude, and the clothes they wear are also important.
Since the photos are taken at night when there is no light, it is best to wear bright clothes, and since the camera has a long exposure time, you should minimize movement when taking the photos to get good results.
If you move a lot, you may appear like a ghost. :)
The number of photos will vary depending on the number of people in your reservation and the weather, but we will do our best to take at least 4 photos.
4. What else is prepared?
1) You can choose a BBQ lunch box.
Menu: BBQ chicken, BBQ pork ribs, shrimp, rice, kimchi
The amount may vary from person to person, but it is the amount consumed by an average adult male.
Those who eat less may find it a bit too much.
2) Beer and ramen are prepared.
We provide ramen, drinks, and even beer.
Dinner may not be enough, so we recommend including a packed lunch or eating before or after the tour.
*Starlight Tour Tip: Please install the constellation app in advance.
Before participating in the Starlight Tour, please install the constellation app in Korea in advance.
It's great that we give you a very detailed explanation, but... to see the exact constellations, it's best to install a constellation app in Korea.
If you search for “constellation” in the app search, apps related to constellations will be searched, and after installing “Constellation Board”, turn on the app.
It's great for stargazing because it tells you which constellations are visible in the sky based on the movement of your smartphone.
