    The area known as the “Ishikiri Quarry” spans approximately 10 km east to west, 5 km north to south, and 1.5 km underground. It is Japan’s largest quarry for Inada stone, with a history of over 100 years. Inada stone, a type of granite formed from slowly cooled magma deep beneath the ocean, is renowned for its rare white color and is also called the “White Lady.” It has been used in many of Japan’s most iconic buildings, including Nihonbashi, Tokyo Station, the National Diet Building, and the Supreme Court. 
  • Isokura Sake Brewery
    This charming sake brewery, renovated from a traditional Japanese nagaya townhouse, offers visitors the chance to experience Japan’s sake culture. Guests can enjoy sake tasting and make purchases on-site.
