Located at the foot of Geumjeongsan Mountain, north of Dongnae Hot Springs in Busan, this is a major Zen Buddhist temple and one of Korea's five great temples, alongside Tongdosa and Haeinsa. Founded 1,300 years ago during the Silla Dynasty (678 AD) by the high priest Uisang, it is said to have once comprised about 300 temple buildings. Surrounded by natural beauty, including a colony of wisteria trees designated as a natural monument and scenic forest valleys, it attracts many visitors from all over.

・Dongnae Market
Dongnae Market is a historic traditional market dating back to the Joseon Dynasty, offering a glimpse of a bygone era before modernization. The main building is lined with butchers, fishmongers, dried goods stores, and clothing shops, creating a nostalgic atmosphere with incandescent lights hanging at the storefronts. You can also enjoy affordable local meals like kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) at small eateries within the market. Designated as a local Busan specialty, 'Dongnae Halmae Pajeon' is a long-standing restaurant with a 70-year history spanning four generations, dating back to when it was offered to the King during the Joseon Dynasty.

・Menu: Authentic Pajeon with plenty of seafood
Made with a generous amount of clams, shrimp, oysters, mussels, and green onions, the batter is prepared with rice flour and anchovy broth before being grilled.
