- Itinerary -
Depart from Melbourne/Box Hill by private bus. First, head to the Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes. The row of colorful huts on the beach is a popular photo spot. No two bathing boxes have the same pattern, and their vibrant colors ensure you will get great photos—just make sure you have enough storage space! Next, head to Maru Koala and Animal Park (at your own expense). Don't let the small size of this zoo fool you; you can find all of Australia's famous native animals here! Then, proceed to Phillip Island (commonly known as Penguin Island). Enjoy dinner in Cowes, a town with a population of just over 6,000. After dinner, take a stroll along the boardwalk at The Nobbies to enjoy the beautiful bay views and various flocks of seabirds. Finally, watch the famous Little Penguin Parade. Penguin Island limits entry to 500,000 visitors per year, and you will be able to witness the adorable sight of these cute penguins swimming back to shore from the sea and waddling their way home!
- Attraction Introduction -
- Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes: There are over 80 colorful bathing boxes on Brighton Beach. These wooden huts are primarily rented to locals as storage or changing rooms. Each hut has a unique design style, which not only looks beautiful but also makes it easy for owners to identify their own cabin. Because of their beautiful appearance, they have become a popular photo spot for tourists.
- Maru Koala and Animal Park (at your own expense): The park is home to many unique Australian species. You can see the animals up close, purchase kangaroo feed to feed them, and gently touch or take photos with them. Depending on the schedule on the board, you may also have the chance to see exciting animal performances.
- Penguin Parade: This is a large habitat for little penguins, home to the world's smallest penguin species, the Fairy Penguin, which stands about 30 to 40 cm tall and weighs only about 1 kg. After sunset, they swim back to the shore from the sea and waddle in a line back to their burrows. This magnificent migration is known as the Penguin Parade.
