Following the local tour guides, you will be visiting the famous Big Buddha located at the top of Phuket's highest mountain. Made of white marble, the seated Buddha is a popular landmark in Phuket with its face to Chalong Bay and its back to the Andaman Sea.
Located at Chalong Bay in southern Phuket, Wat Chalong is the largest temple in southern Thailand. Although Wat Chalong does not cover a vast area, it contains two temples and a chedi that worships the Buddhist relic. The temple is a combination of architectural styles from southern, central, and northeastern Thailand and it attracts tourists from all over the world.
