Notice for Guests: Sardine sightings at Napaling Reef are seasonal and not guaranteed, as naturally shift to deeper waters during certain months. Snorkeling still continues year-round with clear waters, healthy corals, diverse reef fish, and possible sea turtle sightings even when sardines are not present.
At present, the sardines at Napaling Reef have temporarily moved to deeper waters. This is a natural and seasonal occurrence. Based on historical patterns, sardines usually shift locations or depth during the Amihan season (October–March) and return during summer and Habagat months (April–September). However, as this is a natural phenomenon, the exact timing is not guaranteed, and their presence may extend or vary by plus or minus one to two months.

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking Napaling Sardine Run—a spectacle of thousands of shimmering sardines. Cool off with an optional dip in the serene Hinagdanan Cave. Enjoy lunch on the scenic Loboc River, then explore Bohol's top highlights: the endangered Philippine tarsier, the iconic Chocolate Hills, the Man-Made Forest, and more.

**Snorkeling gear (mask and snorkel) will be provided at the Napaling Sardine Run site; however, the condition may vary. For optimal comfort and hygiene, we recommend bringing your own equipment.
