Book the iconic ticket package, you'll ride an all-terrain Ice Explorer across the Athabasca Glacier, a massive ice sheet that's over 10,000 years old. Then, experience a sense of awe at the edge of Sunwapta Valley, as you take a breathtaking walk along the one-kilometre interpretive pathway of the Columbia Icefield Skywalk. This stunning journey showcases fossils, waterfall views, and sweeping glacier vistas, all while winding through areas frequented by mountain goats and other wildlife. The highlight is the suspended glass platform, where you’ll venture beyond the cliff's edge and be just inches away from the rugged landscape 918 feet (280 meters) below—an unforgettable view that will stay with you forever.

- Please provide an active and reachable contact number when booking in the event of an emergency
- After placing an order, you must attend the scheduled session for the experience. The time slot cannot be made last minute
- Children aged 0-5 can ride for free. Please include them in your order when making the reservation
- Travelers may be asked to present their ID documents (e.g. passport, ID card) for identity verification purposes. Please make sure you carry the aforementioned documents with you
- Opening hours are for reference only. please refer to the official website for details on the most up-to-date operating hours. In the event of operating hour changes, no prior notice will be provided
- Refunds or compensation will not be granted to guests due to personal reasons (e.g. lack of travel documents, late arrival, sickness, accidents)

Pets are not permitted, with the exception of service dogs, for the safety and comfort of our guests. Appropriate accreditation must be presented on site. Emotional support animals are not permitted
Parks Canada has designated all National Parks in Canada as “no drone zones” for recreational use
Accessible parking is available for permitted vehicles in our upper parking lot
Please make sure you to wear layers and flat, comfortable, closed-toe shoes with grippy soles (e.g. sneakers, hiking boots). Don't forget to bring sunscreen, an empty water bottle that you can fill with glacier water if you wish and your camera! If you have a purse or a backpack, you can bring that along too
You can expect the temperature to be about 15° Celsius (27° F) cooler on the glacier than at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre
You must arrive with your ticket at the boarding hall no later than 15 minutes before your departure time for check in. However, we recommend arriving at the Glacier Discover Centre 30 minutes early to find parking, use the restroom and prepare for your tour
The Glass Skywalk is not recommended for guests with a fear of heights, those with heart conditions or individuals who are pregnant. Please assess your comfort level before participating. Your safety and well-being are our priority
