After purchasing your e-ticket for the Mt. Tsukuba Ropeway or Cable Car, you will receive a unique QR Code. Simply present the QR Code on your mobile phone at the entrance of the ropeway or cable car station. Staff will scan it for smooth entry, eliminating the need to exchange for physical tickets. To reach the boarding stations for the Mt. Tsukuba Cable Car/Ropeway, you will typically depart from Tsukuba Station on the Tsukuba Express. From Tsukuba Station, take the Tsukuba Mountain Shuttle Bus, which will take you directly to the entrance of Mt. Tsukuba Shrine or Tsutsujigaoka, the respective boarding points for the cable car and ropeway. It is recommended to check the bus schedule in advance.
