    — What You Can Expect —

    In the morning we'll whisk you away through the scenic route to the Yarra Valley in our comfortable and air-conned bus. Our tour guide driver will provide interesting and fun commentary along the way while you soak in the relaxing and beautiful sceneries our countryside.

    Once in the Yarra Valley, start your morning at Coldstream Dairy for a cheeky tastings of 3 unique cheese with crackers accompanied. They also make jams and chutney here for you to try and buy.

    Then lets hit the road and begin our wine trail visiting usually Soumah as the first winery. Here you get to try 5-6 different types of wines highlighting the wonderful cool-climate terroir of the region as well as classic varietals such as Pinots and Chardonnay.

    After, we visit our second winery usually Helen & Joey for more delightful wines. By around 12:30pm we'll visit Hubert Estate for their vibrant Quarters restaurant where you can enjoy lunch. Here you can choose from a wide selection of mains to suit your style and budget (lunch at own expense). If time allows, you can sneak over to their cellar-door and try additional wines or get a glass of wine at your own indiscretion.

    We then proceed to the most famous chocolate producer in the region, the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice-creamery. This is a great spot with amazing sceneries around. Here you get to enjoy a guided tastings of approx. 10 different hand-crafted creations.

    To conclude your day, we head to the award-winning Four Pillars Gin Distillery. For this package, the gin tasting paddles are not included. However this is a wonderful spot to finish where you have the freedom to explore, hangout with the other guests or enjoy extra nibbles or other drinks at you own expense.

    Throughout the tour, our lively and knowledgeable guide will provide fascinating insights and tips, accommodating requests for photos and music preferences.

Any medical and evacuation expenses incurred due to injury or illness will be the responsibility of the participant. Dancing Kangaroo Tours reserves the right to refuse a participant entry onto a tour due to medical or fitness grounds.

    • The participant warrants to having a fitness and health level to cope with reasonable consumption of wines, beers & ciders, gin, cheeses, yummy food, and fun!

    • The participant acknowledges that travel on a Dancing Kangaroo Tours tour requires a degree of flexibility, and understands that the tour’s route and modes of transport are subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances.

    • It is beyond your control as to which wines the winery offers for tastings on any particular day and the wines listed in our itineraries are an example only.

    • While travelling with Dancing Kangaroo Tours’ tours the participant agrees to accept the authority of Dancing Kangaroo Tours’s leader or Dancing Kangaroo Tours’s tourist guide at all times. The participant is aware that travel within a group may involve compromise to accommodate the diverse desires and physical abilities of group members. The participant understands that Dancing Kangaroo Tours reserves the right to decline, accept, or retain any person as a member of the group at any time.

    • The participant acknowledges that Dancing Kangaroo Tours works directly with a network of wineries, government agencies and individuals who provide assistance throughout the regions in which the tours are conducted. To the best of Dancing Kangaroo Tours’s knowledge, these third parties are qualified to provide such assistance. However, Dancing Kangaroo Tours will not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity that may occur due to the conduct of these third parties nor will Dancing Kangaroo Tours accept responsibility or liability for any participant who contravenes any law or regulation.

    • Participants are encouraged to have travel insurance for every active tour taken with Dancing Kangaroo Tours. This is strongly encouraged for overseas visitors who may not have access to the Australian health care system. The participant’s travel insurance should provide cover against personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation and personal liability.

    • Due to the nature of the tours, all participants must be over 18 years of age at the date of tour

    • Latecomers or non-attendance is not permitted a refund

    • During our low season (June to September), we may cancel trips if attendance is low. If this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible, usually at least two business days in advance. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

    Cancellation Policy

    • For cancellations made at least 4 day(s) prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 2% will apply
    • For cancellations made 3 to 3 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
    • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–2 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
    NOTE
    • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
