Private vehicles entering the animal area will incur an additional fee for a guided radio (subject to park regulations).

Visitors aged 65 and above are required to present proof of age at the on-site counter to complete admission confirmation.
Depending on the ticket category, you may be required to show identification; failure to do so may result in a ticket price adjustment or refusal of entry.
Audio guide radio fee: For private vehicles entering the animal area, an additional fee for the audio guide radio is required per vehicle (subject to park regulations).
The park shuttle bus and various experience tours require separate tickets and may have date/quota restrictions. Please refer to official announcements and on-site information for details.

To enter Gunma Safari Park, visitors typically purchase an entry ticket. You can acquire your electronic ticket conveniently through KKday, which offers a streamlined booking experience for various attractions. Upon arrival, present your electronic ticket at the park's entrance for verification. To reach Gunma Safari Park by public transportation, first travel to Takasaki Station, a major hub accessible by Shinkansen. From Takasaki, take the Joshin Dentetsu Line to Joshu-Tomioka Station. From Joshu-Tomioka Station, you can take a local bus directly to the safari park. The bus ride from Joshu-Tomioka Station takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Taxis are also available from Joshu-Tomioka Station for direct access.
The best time to visit Gunma Safari Park is generally during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to November) months. During these seasons, the weather is mild and pleasant, making it comfortable for exploring the park and observing the animals. Animals tend to be more active in cooler temperatures.
