See the restoration of the Great Melbourne Telescope — the first ever large, fully steerable telescope designed to see beyond our galaxy, allowing astronomers to look deep into our nearest galactic neighbours, the large and small Magellanic Clouds.

You can race against Cathy Freeman, try out for soccer goalkeeper, and zoom down the slopes in our snowboarding simulator. A new space for little tinkerers! Ground Up: Building Big Ideas, Together is an exhibition for babies to five-year-olds where curiosity is rewarded around each bend with surprising and intriguing sights, sounds and touch sensations.
Beyond Perception: Seeing the Unseen is a ground-breaking and unconventional permanent exhibition designed for teenagers. Exploring the imperceptible worlds of science and technology, this exhibition will look deeper, and see further than ever before.
