- In addition to being able to wear a helmet, one person per group can wear full armor (up to a waist circumference of 100cm, additional charge applies).

A descendant of the 15th Mito Tokugawa family will give a 30-minute lecture, during which you will have the opportunity to privately view two items from the collection—such as tea bowls, calligraphy, or scrolls—selected according to your interests, in the VIP room. One person per group will wear samurai armor (size limit of 100cm waist circumference, additional charge applies), try on a helmet, try on high-quality kimono made in Japan, and experience a special tea ceremony in the "Tokugetsu-tei" tea room, which is not open to the public. Interpretation is provided, and lunch (eel, Hitachi beef, Shoka bento, or vegetarian bento) and sweets are included.

A descendant of the 15th Mito Tokugawa family will give a 30-minute lecture, during which you can choose two items from the collection—such as tea bowls, calligraphy, or scrolls—based on a theme of interest to you, for private viewing in the VIP room, a helmet experience, an interpreter, and lunch (eel, Hitachi beef, Shoka bento, or vegetarian bento and sweets included).
Our optional tours include a visit to sake breweries, including Japan's oldest sake brewery (approximately 30 minutes by car).
