How do I get to the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe?
Eiger Express Tricable Gondola (Fastest Option)
The shortest journey is via Grindelwald. From Grindelwald Terminal, take the Eiger Express tricable gondola to the Eigergletscher (Eiger Glacier Station). At Eigergletscher, change to the Jungfrau Railway, which travels through the Eiger and Mönch mountains to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, the highest railway station in Europe
Journey time: Approximately 50 minutes, including transfer times
The Traditional Option
The first section of the route on the classic Wengernalpbahn (WAB - Wengernalp Railway - Green/Yellow train) is more leisurely. From Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen, take the train to Kleine Scheidegg. At Kleine Scheidegg station, change to the Jungfrau Railway, which takes you via the Eiger Glacier to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, home to Europe’s highest railway station
