The first stop is Pays de Sault, renowned for its cultivation and distillation of lavender and lavandin. Upon reaching the village of Sault, often referred to as the "capital of lavender", you'll have ample time to explore at your leisure. Perhaps indulge in local Provençal delicacies such as nougat made with lavender honey and almonds, or even sample some lavender ice cream. You can also peruse the various lavender shops scattered throughout the village.

Following this, you'll visit a local lavender producer during the distillation period, gaining insight into the intricate process of creating fine lavender essential oils. As you depart from Sault, prepare yourself for the awe-inspiring views of the sprawling lavender fields - an ideal photo opportunity awaits.

The next destination is Gordes, a famed Luberon village recognised as one of "the most beautiful villages in France". Here, you can admire the castle that stands guard over the typical dry-stone houses nestled below.
