Short day family grower tour and lunch from Epernay

-What you can expect-
Enjoy a sparkling experience, discover the scenic vineyards and learn about Champagne making in this short day tour which leaves from the heart of the Champagne region, Epernay.

Upon meeting your friendly guide at 12.00am, you will start your tour with a drive through Champagne Avenue where some of the most prestigious estates are based. You will have a moment to enjoy the vineyards and their breathtaking views, and you will learn about the particularities of this area's “terroir”.

From there you will head to the village of Hautvillers, the birthplace of Champagne, for a bit of exploration. Here you will be able to visit the church where the famous monk Dom Pérignon is buried.

Be welcomed in Mareuil-sur-Ay at a typical Champagne House, Le Clos Corbier. Take part in a fun workshop on Champagne and become an expert taster in this famous sparkling wine !

Lunch will be a complete immersion into the french lifestyle and will consist of traditional homemade regional specialties paired with a variety of Champagnes. More Champagne tasting awaits in the afternoon as you get to visit an authentic and charming family-run estate, before your guide drops you off back to Epernay at around 5.15pm.
