-What You Can Expect-

Go on a journey to the famous Mount Pinatubo, known for its dramatic history and stunning beauty. Situated a few hours drive north of Metro Manila, this majestic volcano has gained renown for two compelling reasons – its enchanting beauty and the catastrophic eruption in 1991. On this tour, you’ll go on a short one hour hike – 3 km each way, commencing with a 4X4 ride to the trailhead. The trek, featuring river crossings under the sun, stunning views, and rugged terrain, promises an unforgettable experience.

Due to the long driving times, we depart from Manila just after midnight, in order to arrive at the starting point early in the morning. Our adventure begins with an exciting 4×4 drive, taking us through a unique landscape towards the base of the volcano. This off-road journey is an experience in itself, offering views of the surrounding wilderness.

Once we reach the trailhead, we’ll start our hike towards the volcano’s crater. The hike is both challenging and rewarding, featuring river crossings and stunning scenery. The rugged terrain under the sun makes for an unforgettable experience. Reaching the crater around midday, you’ll be greeted by the breathtaking view of the crater lake. It’s a perfect spot for lunch (which you’ll need to bring or purchase on your own). The journey back to the 4x4s is equally exhilarating, filled with the natural beauty of the area.
