- Tianyige·Yuehu Scenic Area consists of two core scenic spots: Tianyige Museum and Yuehu Lake. Tianyi Pavilion is located on the bank of Yue Lake in Ningbo. It is famous as "the only pavilion in the world that has lasted through the ages, and the only one with the best collection of books in the world." It was built in the 45th year of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty (1566). Tianyi Pavilion has a history of more than 450 years. It is the oldest private library in Asia and one of the three oldest family libraries in the world. The water area of Yuehu Lake is 9 hectares. It was called West Lake in ancient times and was also called Jianhu Lake. It has always been a gathering place for literati and elegant people, and is known as "Zoulu in East Zhejiang".
- Ningbo Museum is a comprehensive museum with regional characteristics that mainly displays Ningbo's humanities, history and art. The building itself is an "exhibit", and many people even come just to see the building. A large number of old bricks and tiles removed from old buildings in Ningbo are used on the exterior walls of the museum. Some walls are slanted. If you look carefully, you can find the symbols left on the bricks and tiles when they were fired. The museum has a rich collection, and its display consists of three parts: themed display, special display and temporary exhibition.
- Ningbo Drum Tower was built in the first year of Changqing of the Tang Dynasty. It is a symbol of the official establishment of a state and city in the history of Ningbo. It is the only remaining ancient city tower site in Ningbo. Nowadays, the Drum Tower and the nearby Gongyuan Road area have become the gathering place for Ningbo's major cultural activities. The buildings in the entire area fully reflect the characteristics of Ningbo's Jiangnan water town. Visitors can have a panoramic view of Ningbo City by climbing the tower. There are stalls of various sizes around the Drum Tower, attracting many foreign tourists to visit this historic site.
- The Old Bund Scenic Area is the gateway to the ancient city of Ningbo. It is one of the few remaining Bunds with a century-old history in China. It is now a famous tourist attraction in Ningbo. The Old Bund still retains a large number of old European-style buildings that have been converted into bars and restaurants. The Gothic-style Jiangbei Catholic Church is one of the landmarks of Ningbo. At the same time, Laowaitan is also a bar street. Every time I go to Ningbo, I must go to Laowaitan for a night drink!
- Xiangshan Film and Television City uses Lingyan Mountain as the background and combines local natural landscapes such as mountains, rocks, caves, water, and forests to create a Chinese live-action movie theme park focusing on tourist experience, film and television fun, and tourism interactivity. The scenic spot consists of four major functional areas: Jianghu Town, Fantasy World, Star Dream Factory, and Martial Arts World. It also has scenic spots such as the Condor Heroes City, Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States City, Republic of China City, and Journey to the West Paradise. The scenic area is very large and it is relatively inconvenient to walk. It is recommended to prepare a plan when visiting and take an electric car in the scenic area to visit.
