- There are ten sceneries in the West Lake: spring dawn on Su Di, wind lotuses in Quyuan, autumn moon on Pinghu, residual snow on broken bridge, watching fish in Huagang, listening to orioles in willow waves, reflecting the moon in Three Pools, twin peaks in the clouds, sunset on Leifeng Peak, and evening bell on Nanping. The new ten scenic spots of the West Lake are: Bamboo Path in the Clouds, Osmanthus Rain in the Longjing, Mengquan of Tiger Running, Tea in Longjing, Smoked Trees in Jiuxi, Tianfeng in Wushan Mountain, Ruandun Huanbi, Yellow Dragon Spitting Green, Jade Emperor Flying Clouds, and Gemstone Flowing Clouds. There are three islands in the lake: Three Pools Reflecting the Moon, Pavilion in the Center of the Lake, and Ruan Gongdun.
- Leifeng Pagoda, originally named Huangfei Pagoda, also known as Xiguan Brick Pagoda and commonly known as "Huangfei Pagoda", is located on Xizhao Mountain on the south bank of West Lake Scenic Area.
