In the past, it was okay to travel independently in Okinawa if you went to places that could be reached by the monorail. However, if you went to places where trams were not available, such as Senaga Island or Namigamigu Shrine, you had to take a taxi. But with electric scooters, you can easily enjoy them in the city.
