— What You Can Expect —

Treat yourself to a rare experience: a Sumo morning training tour in Tokyo! 

Sumo wrestling is Japan's highly popular national sport with a long tradition. In this activity, participants get to see the training of active professional wrestler and even take a group picture with them at the end. Normally, people usually see these athletes from afar during tournaments. But here, you can see them up close! This makes a more in-depth experience possible and should not be missed.

 *All Sumo Stables are located in the Tokyo area. Participants will be notified in advance regarding the meeting place and time details. 

*After a reservation is processed successfully, participants will receive first a temporary voucher in a separate email. When the final meeting place and time details are confirmed (5-7 days before participation day), a final voucher with all the necessary information will be sent.


Important Info

Reminders

  • Do not enter the Sumo Room without permission. There will be staff waiting for you outside the entrance and give you proper instructions

  • There will be a guide at the door to explain the training process but the actual training session will be done in Japanese

  • The schedule is subject to change depending on Sumo wrestlers'fitness for practice. Please understand that there is a possibility that the Sumo wrestlers will leave midway, and in that situation there will be no photography allowed

  • You may leave before the end of the tour, but you will be not able to take a photo at the end of tour

  • Please show respect, and refrain from talking loudly and making noises. If you have any questions, please ask the staff quietly

  • Please silence your phone, and no phone calls are allowed for the duration of the viewing

  • No flash photography and ask for permission for video recording

  • Please do not bring large baggage

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 11 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 2 to 10 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
