In the event of inclement weather such as typhoons or snowstorms, a decision on whether to cancel the tour will be made 1 day(s) before departure (local time 12:00). Notifications will then be sent via email
If you cancel your booked package tour before a land typhoon warning is issued, and your location or departure point is affected by a typhoon, the cancellation will be handled according to the online announcement and the park's activity cancellation policy.
Once the Central Weather Bureau issues a land typhoon warning or announces school or work closures, the park will assist with postponements or cancellations as quickly as possible, along with subsequent refunds. Postponements or refunds will not be accepted for temporary weather conditions such as brief showers.
Please present your order information when entering the park to participate in the activity package tour. Those who cannot present their order information will not be allowed entry.
Please check in at the island's daytime event venue between 15:45 and 16:00.
Those who book the event will be provided with a dedicated parking space at Heping Island Geopark, approximately 450 meters from the event rest area, and parking will be available from 15:30 on the day of the event to 11:30 the following day.
Participants can freely enter and exit the park during the day of the event (08:00 - 19:00) by presenting their order information, without needing to purchase additional tickets.
Some itineraries are not suitable for pets, therefore pets are not allowed to participate in the activities. (Except for guide dogs, deaf guide dogs, and assistive dogs).
In support of sustainable tourism, please bring your own towels and other personal toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.).
Most of the activity is an outdoor experience without tree shade, so please prepare physical sun protection products, bring water, rain gear and rain boots.
The tour led by the butler will enter the restricted area of the rocks, and closed-toe shoes (covering the toes and heels) must be worn. Heels, slippers, or sandals will not be permitted entry into the restricted area.
Due to tidal influences, seawater may splash onto some sections of the trail in the rocky area. If you are concerned, we recommend wearing rain boots to participate in the activity.
Please properly sort your trash and place food scraps and beverage waste in outdoor trash cans.
The park boasts a rich ecosystem, and mosquitoes, flies, ants, and spiders are common visitors. Please walk carefully when you are out and about. If you are afraid of insects, we recommend wearing light long-sleeved clothing and bringing your own mosquito repellent to avoid being bitten.
The shower area and toilet are public spaces; please be patient while waiting if there are many people.
Please keep your personal belongings and valuables in your vehicle safe. The park is not responsible for their safekeeping.
Smoking, spitting betel nuts, setting off fireworks, and starting fires on the grass are strictly prohibited within the park. Compensation will be sought for any environmental pollution or facility damage caused.
Any illegal activities are prohibited within the park. If any are discovered, the police will be notified and the participant will be disqualified from the activity.
Peace Island Geopark reserves the right to make final modifications, changes, interpretations of the event, and cancellation of the event. Any changes will be announced on the website without further notice.
