— What You Can Expect —
Your tour begins with a drive down Stuart Highway, the longest highway in Australia, followed by a stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetery. At Nitmiluk National Park, view the various landscapes, waterfalls, and Aboriginal rock art. Learn more about the park's custodians, the Jawoyn people. In the dry months, you can even take a refreshing swim at Leliyn (Edith Falls).
After a relaxing lunch in the shade, visit the park's visitor center to see photographs, memorabilia, and traditional artifacts. The highlight of the tour is a two-hour cruise through Katherine Gorge and its 70-meter-high walls. You might even spot a crocodile or two if you're lucky!
