Chillon Castle is the cherry on top of this part of Switzerland’s natural beauty and you can see the beauty of  Lake Geneva from The Castle. The location are occupied since the Bronze Age and it has its roots in the 12th century with the Counts of Savoy and has passed through the hands of a number of nobility. It was lasting from 16th-18th centuries, the Bernese period, and the Vaudois period still going today. During the visit, you can see around 300 items such as furniture, weapons and armor, all of the items exhibited here were found during the archaeological digs carried out at the castle from 1896 to 1903.
