Start your getaway in style with a pre-night stay at Kingfisher Bay Resort. Relax on island time and enjoy full access to the resort facilities, in preparation for your two-day 4WD tour.

Led by your expert local guide, tick off all of the favourite K’gari locations including the crystal-clear depths of Lake McKenzie and the towering rainforest of Pile Valley. PLUS, uncover some of the destination’s equally spectacular hidden gems such as the emerald green oasis of Lake Wabby.


－Accommodation Information－

  • Room type:recently renovated standard hotel rooms, all rooms have 1 x Queen Bed and 1 x Single Bed,
  • Room facility: tea & coffee making facilities, ceiling fans, flat screen TV, bathroom and patio/balcony. (The amenities are subject to change due to the resort's availability)
  • These rooms also come with ceiling fans to increase airflow, however, if you would like an air-conditioned room, please request an upgrade at time of check-in
  • The resort offers many facilities for guest use, but the best place to unwind at the end of a tour day is at McKenzie’s on 75 Bar & Restaurant to delight in an evening at leisure and select a meal from the new à la cart.

  • Please note Infants under the age of 1 year are unable to travel on tours
  • Infants 1-3 years are free of charge, sharing with adults and using existing bedding, no meals included
  • All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult
  • Please message KKday customer service for any dietary requirements at the time of booking. If notified later than 48 hours before the tour, the operator may refuse the request
  • Please note the exact meeting/ check-in time and location will be advised with booking confirmation
  • Please provide a reachable contact number when booking so the tour guide can provide departure notices and contact you on the tour day/in advance
  • Resort check-in is 2:00 pm; checkout is 10:00 am

– Luggage information–

  • Each guest may check-in free of charge, 2 items of luggage, limited to no more than 25kg per piece
  • Additional items to be checking-in will incur a handling fee of AUD 10 per piece.

Reminders

  • Please arrive at the designated location 20 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time

  • Visitors are banned from taking dogs, cats, or any other domestic animals onto any part of Fraser Island, including the beaches

  • Itinerary and timings are subject to change due to weather, track and tide conditions

  • If there is insufficient time for all attractions on the itinerary, the tour guide will cut down time at other attractions

  • Refunds will not be granted to travellers who do not wish to see all the attractions on the itinerary

  • Inclusions that are not utilised are non-refundable and non-transferable

  • Guests who refuse to reduce their luggage weight or pay excess luggage charges will be required to carry their own luggage at all transport points on and off boats, along jetty and to and from accommodation locations

  • K’gari Explorer Tours reserves the right to alternate passenger transfer services within the marine fleet

  • Schedule of services may alter subject to the operational structure changes, K’gari Explorer Tours reserves the right to offer alternate land transfer service options

  • No toothbrush, toothpaste, or slippers are provided in resort. Guests must bring their own

  • Bring your own swimwear for water activities

  • Please arrive on time, as the tour operator cannot accommodate delays from flights or late passengers, and no refunds are eligible

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 17 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–16 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
