Considering the rights of fellow passengers, if you fail to arrive before the ship departs, you will not be kept waiting. Please pay attention to the check-in time.
The Keelung Island tour requires a minimum of 15 people to set sail. The actual sailing time may be adjusted depending on the registration situation on the day. You will be notified by phone the day before.
If the ferry needs to be cancelled due to bad sea conditions or the group has not been formed, we will proactively notify the passengers one day in advance to change the date or cancel the reservation and refund the full amount. Whether to sail out due to walrus is determined by a professional captain, based on the forecasted size of waves and wind direction. If it rains but the waves are small, the boat will depart as normal and the fleet will provide light raincoats free of charge. If it is sunny but the waves are high, the boat trip will be cancelled.
In 2024, Keelung Island will be open to the public with a daily quota of 1,200 people (real-name quota). We will upload your information to the Keelung Island Tourism Reservation Platform of the Municipal Government to register for island quota in the order of registration. Please be sure to provide correct personal information (name + date of birth + ID number or passport number). If the quota for island access is reached on that day, your order may be affected and need to be rescheduled or cancelled.
If you take a boat directly from Bisha Fishing Port to Keelung Island Pier, the journey takes about 20 minutes. Please assess your own physical condition and decide whether to take seasickness medicine or other medicines. It is recommended to get enough sleep before boarding the ship. If you feel that you may be seasick, please refrain from eating spicy or greasy food before sailing, and please take seasickness medicine 30 minutes to 1 hour before sailing. When on a boat, going to the outdoor deck to breathe fresh air or lying down in a berth can relieve seasickness.
All passengers must wear life jackets before sailing and must pass identity checks by Coast Guard security personnel before going out to sea.
