Shinano Railway ROKUMON Sightseeing Train
The Shinano Railway ROKUMON sightseeing train travels between Nagano Station and Karuizawa Station in approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes. Enjoy the beautiful scenery passing by your window while savoring delicious dishes prepared by onboard chefs using a variety of ingredients from Nagano Prefecture, paired with smooth wine—it is truly the ultimate luxury! The train name 'ROKUMON' is derived from the 'six coins' family crest of the legendary Sengoku period warlord, Sanada Yukimura. The train carriages are painted in a deep red symbolizing Sanada Yukimura, accented with gold and black, representing the three family crests of the Sanada clan. The interior of the sightseeing train is crafted from wood produced in Nagano Prefecture, creating a comfortable and warm lounge-style space. Be sure to experience the Shinano Railway ROKUMON sightseeing train, where you can enjoy a relaxing time with gourmet food while admiring the beautiful scenery along the Shinano Railway line on your journey from Karuizawa to Nagano.
The Rokumon sightseeing train is named after the "Rokumon Sen" (rokumon sen) family crest of the "Sanada clan", a military commander with deep ties to the city of Ueda along the route!
We make full use of wood from Nagano Prefecture to create a comfortable and warm lounge-style space. (The interior decoration may vary slightly depending on the vehicle)

This is a special space created by utilizing the VIP lounge of the former Karuizawa Station Memorial Hall. The precious building materials and components from that time have been preserved intact and furnished with Mitooka-designed furniture to match the elegant atmosphere. This is a VIP lounge exclusively for passengers of the "ROKUMON" meal package, where you can relax and enjoy yourself before departing for the "Western Set Meal" and after arriving for the "Japanese Set Meal".

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 11 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 8 to 10 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
- For cancellations made 3 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 2 to 2 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
