- Iriomote Island
Iriomote Island is the second largest island in Okinawa Prefecture after the main island. Approximately 90% of the island is covered in subtropical primeval forests, making it an academically precious location that is home to 15 nationally designated natural monuments, including the Iriomote cat, the crested serpent eagle, and the Ryukyu leaf turtle. There are about 40 rivers of various sizes flowing on Iriomote Island, many of which have mangroves at their estuaries. The mangroves in the Nakama River basin are particularly magnificent, accounting for about one-fourth of the total mangrove area in Japan. - 'Miracle Island' Barasu Island
Barasu Island is a small island formed by the accumulation of white coral sand (barasu). The waters around Barasu Island are called the 'Sekisei Lagoon,' a designated national park and home to one of Japan's largest and most beautiful coral reefs. It is an uninhabited island floating in the blue sea, consisting only of pure white sand and emerald blue water. - If you would like to be picked up from a hotel in the Uehara area, please fill in the name and address of your hotel in the "Notes" field when making your reservation. The local tour operator will inform you of the pick-up time.
*Hotels outside the Uehara area (Jungle Hotel Painu Maya, Eco Village, Latida Iriomote, etc.) are not within the pick-up area. If you are staying at one of these hotels, please take a bus or taxi to Uehara Port. - Since it is a private tour, we may be able to accommodate some irregular requests (e.g., requests for pick-up from hotels outside the normal pick-up area). Please let us know your requests in advance using the message function on kkday. We will do our best to accommodate your requests as much as possible.

Reminders

In case of delays caused by traffic, weather, or other force majeure factors resulting in the cancellation of some itinerary attractions, please contact customer service. We will arrange a partial refund for you
In the event of inclement weather such as typhoons or snowstorms, a decision on whether to cancel the tour will be made 1 day(s) before departure (local time 07:00). Notifications will then be sent via email

The meeting and departure times may vary depending on the season and the field conditions on the day. The shop will contact you the day before the tour with details such as the meeting place and time.
The tour will be held in rainy weather. However, if we determine that the safety of the field cannot be ensured, the tour may be canceled.
Please come to the venue dressed in clothes that you don't mind getting wet.
Please use the restroom beforehand. (There are no restrooms near the site.)
