We had an amazing trip with Ms. Zhu. Her driving was very smooth and safe. We were able to stop by Longyin Temple and Fenqihu before going to Alishan. Since we left around 8:00 from Taichung, we were able to explore Fenqihu peacefully and had a bento lunch before the many tourists buses came. When we got to Alishan, Ms. Zhu gave us an itinerary that helped us explore Alishan efficiently and still allowed us to make it on the 3:15pm train from Shenmu station back to Alishan station. After Alishan, we headed back to our B&B in Fanlu and Ms. Zhu was kind enough to make a quick stop at a cozy tea shop to let us join a quick tea tasting because she knows we wanted to buy some Alishan tea to take back home. It was a very fun experience overall and I highly recommend booking this private charter to have a stress-free trip ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an excellent in-depth tour of Alishan. The travel agency arranges everything, including itinerary, accommodation, and transportation, making it suitable for busy people who don't need to spend extra time planning. The agency provides detailed explanations and guidance, giving you peace of mind. The semi-independent itinerary offers more flexibility and is perfect for family trips. For accommodation, Alishan Hotel is a great choice, conveniently located and easily accessible. The Alishan Forest Railway pass allows us to fully enjoy the trip, making it easy to travel around the attractions. The Alishan Forest Railway ride down the mountain is also a fantastic experience. The only downside was the weather; we missed the famous sunrise, but the light rain was a unique and memorable experience. The guides are professional and provide in-depth explanations, enhancing our understanding of Alishan's culture and environment. This tour is highly recommended for first-time Alishan visitors.

Arrangements was perfect and we do have sufficient time to be on our own and the drivers are very prompt and courteous.

We booked the trip only a week before departure. The next morning, KKday and Aiwanmei urgently notified us that there were no more train tickets or double rooms available, only triple rooms left. We were shocked! It didn't seem to fit the itinerary at all! Unexpectedly, this hotel became the most satisfying part of our trip. Although we didn't pay for any meals, the travel agency arranged meal vouchers for other restaurants and 7-Eleven gift cards. The Sanzhixiang Restaurant recommended by Aiwanmei was also delicious, much better value than what we found ourselves 👍. Our driver, Ms. Huang, was an excellent driver, explained the itinerary carefully, and answered all our questions. Our guide, Mr. Wu, was also very responsible, explaining the history of the park and how to navigate the routes for the next day, as the map and actual altitude are different. In spring, the park is full of flowers—Yoshino cherry blossoms, Wushe Mountain cherry blossoms, magnolias, camellias, rhododendrons, daisies, etc.—a truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommended. The day before our return trip, I still checked if there were any tickets available on the Lin Tie Railway. They did, and I immediately asked Aiwanmei to handle it. They quickly booked the tickets so we could pick them up at Numahira Station, fulfilling my wish to take the train and travel the Z route!

The driver was very helpful and attentive along the way, providing a great experience. The mountain scenery was also well-planned. The only downside was the 4-hour Alishan Forest Railway ride down to Chiayi, which was just too time-consuming.

The trip was very well-organized and complete, including visits not only to the Alishan National Park area, but also connected sites like Beimen Station, Fenqihu Station, and Hinoki Village; this gave us the bigger picture of train and forestry culture surrounding Alishan. The driver/guide Mr. Xu explained each site and took us many pictures. He was also very accommodating to my older parents when they needed to go to the restroom multiple times. When we arrived at Alishan, we received two train tickets (Alishan to Zhaoping and Shenmu to Alishan) and a recommended route for our self-guided trek inside; we were then able to explore multiple key sites in a relaxed pace. A good bento lunch, some local snacks, and bottles of water were also provided at the start of the trip. Overall it was well-worth what we paid considering how large and confusing going around Alisha can be.
