Our driver, Abu, was very nice and drove smoothly. The itinerary was also perfectly arranged. We were lucky to be the only family on the tour. Summer makes the trip much more relaxing, especially for those traveling with elderly relatives. Highly recommended!
Yasushi-san's English is excellent; she can explain the history and culture of Japan and the Gassho-zukuri villages in a simple way. In the afternoon, we made Daruma dolls and gold leaf postcards, and observed the gold leaf making process. The entire activity was well-organized. Since this is an English-speaking group, and the other members are from Europe and America, it's a good option for those who want to practice their English.
This was my first time joining a KKDay tour. The two-day, one-night trip was fantastic – great food and accommodations, and the itinerary was perfectly timed. There was no forced shopping, and no extra tips were required. Our tour leader and guide, Ms. Sun Yu, was excellent; she could communicate in Chinese, responded very quickly, and answered all my questions. She was fantastic!
