American Village

I was surprised to find that the ride would involve a descent from a height, but instead, it started on flat ground using a powered fan – the idea was truly amazing! The instructor's professionalism was unquestionable; he observed the wind direction, controlled the orientation, and even considered the GoPro's shooting angle while in the air. Fortunately, the day of the experience was sunny, and we saw the blue sea and sky, as well as stingrays.

The official guide's explanations were very detailed and informative. The entire trip was very enjoyable. There was a slight change to the itinerary: the first stop is Kouri Island, followed by a direct visit to the Beautiful Waterway Management Office, and then Cape Manzamo in the afternoon. Therefore, if you want to see the Golden Sands Food Show, you won't be able to, but you can still see the dolphin show. The meal at the Chungwu Restaurant includes two 3-cent rice balls and a drink.

The direct bus to American Village is very convenient. The staff speaks Chinese and explains the boarding and alighting times and locations very clearly when you exchange your ticket. The air conditioning on the bus is very cool!

My first trip to Okinawa was a 2-day independent tour of the northern and central regions, and I highly recommend it if you don't have a car! ❤️ We met at the department store entrance in the morning. On the first day, we were given two rice balls and some limited-edition local herbal tea at the aquarium. The second day's lunch in the central region was so beautiful and relaxing! Lunch included a burger, and after lunch, we could take a walk on the beach, though it was incredibly hot 🤣🤣 In the afternoon, we had three hours for shopping, and they even gave us an ice cream roll (some flavors required an extra charge). The shopping center was amazing! Three hours for shopping felt a bit short 😆. I'm planning to go back to Okinawa again in 2028 when my child turns five, and I'll definitely buy tickets then.

It rained on the day of our trip, and the bus arrived late, which was a bit of a worry – a minor drawback. The bus was comfortable and clean, and overall, I'd recommend it to those traveling without a car!
