Popular Observation Decks in Kanto

Major observation decks in the Kanto region generally operate from morning until evening, offering visitors a chance to enjoy daytime scenery, twilight transitions, and spectacular night views. However, specific opening hours can vary by season, special events, or public holidays, so it's advisable to check official information beforehand. Regarding entry regulations, most observation decks conduct security checks and have restrictions on large luggage, food, and beverages to ensure the safety and viewing quality for all visitors. Please be aware that some popular decks have a last entry time.

To ensure smooth entry and avoid on-site queues, it's recommended to book tickets for popular Kanto observation decks in advance through online platforms. For instance, booking via KKday offers support in Chinese and flexible cancellation, alleviating language barriers and securing your entry time. Some decks also offer on-site ticket purchases, but popular times or holidays may involve waiting in line or even the risk of tickets selling out. Planning and booking ahead will make your trip smoother.

Observation decks are heated indoors for comfort, but if visiting facilities with outdoor viewing areas, it's still recommended to wear warm clothing to protect against the cold wind.
