Popular Transport in 民丹島

Scooter was in great shape. Worked well. Pickup by car to garage (as my booking was pretty last minute), handover at end of rental at my hotel. All good.

Booking of tickets and checkin was an easy process.

Took the Bintan Resort Ferry from Tanah Merah to Bandar Bentan Telani and back — overall a smooth and convenient journey. Boarding at Tanah Merah was straightforward, with clear signage and efficient staff. The ferry departed and arrived on time both ways. Seating was free and first-come, first-served in the economy class cabin, which was clean and air-conditioned. The ride itself was calm and lasted around an hour. My kids enjoyed watching the waves from the windows. Onboard snacks were available at a small counter, though choices were limited. Luggage was tagged and stored by staff during boarding, making the process hassle-free. On arrival in Bintan, immigration was relatively quick, and hotel transfers were easy to locate.

We had a great experience with Mr. Ari as our driver. He provided excellent service, and my kids really enjoyed having him around. Highly recommended!
