How to Get from Da Nang to Hoi An

By Local Bus
Traveling by bus is the cheapest option to go to Hoi An. From the airport, take a taxi going to the Central Bus Station. Then, board the local bus #1 and get off at Hoi An Nguyen Tat Thanh Bus Station. Buses depart every 20 minutes, and travel time is approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Upon arrival at the Hoi An Bus Station, you can opt to walk or take a taxi to go to your destination in Hoi An.
From Da Nang train station, you can take a cab going to Hoi An. Alternatively, you can take the Yellow Bus, which runs from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
If you prefer a cheaper option to travel to Hoi An, a local bus is your best option. However if you have a few luggage with you, it might not be the most convenient option. Also, local buses usually aren’t air conditioned, so keep this in mind if you’re traveling during the summer season.

By Shuttle Bus

Choose a shuttle bus if you’re traveling in a group. You can arrange for a shuttle bus to pick you up from Da Nang International Airport and drop you off at your accommodation in Hoi An.
