Unable to travel overseas to a wintry destination this December? Ice Magic brings a magical, snowy wonderland to Singapore. It’s undoubtedly the closest we can get to experiencing winter in the tropics. Here at this 2,400M2 playground, touted to be the biggest pop-up winter themed attraction, expect real ice and snow activities.

Firstly, the indoor tentage is separated into two sections – Snow, and Ice. The snow-making machines that were used in the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 have been flown in to create authentic, fluffy snow. In addition, the resulting snow is actually cleaner than natural snow found in wintering countries! There’ll be a 70M long snow slope and daily snowfalls.

Secondly, in the Ice section, there are ice cycling rinks, ice curling and elaborate ice sculptures constructed by master craftsmen from Harbin.

Lastly, the adults will certainly enjoy the Ice Bar, where alcohol will never go warm.

Thinking of camping, but yet you can’t give up your creature comforts? It is true that you can get the best of both worlds. Stay sheltered from the outdoor elements while seaside glamping. Sleep under the stars on queen sized beds, portable air-conditioners in a large tent.

Toast marshmallows and grill your meals on the portable BBQ sets provided in the package. Truly a getaway from the bustling city.

7. Parent & Child Flight Experience

Does your child aspire to be a pilot? While your child works towards their dream, you can bring them for a Flight Experience in the meantime. After a pre-flight briefing by your instructor, solve challenges and navigate between airports in the Cessna 172 simulator. Aeroviation is a homegrown flight school. Moreover, it is the only flight academy offering such experiences to children as young as 7 years old!

8. Interactive Farm Experience

Ants, bees and earthworms rarely come under the spotlight. However, these creatures are crucial to our ecosystem. This December, step away from the screens and get closer to nature. In this interactive farm experience, let your children take on a hands-on approach to learning.

Observe how ants operate in their colonies, and bring home a test tube with a Queen Ant. Next, hold some earthworms in your hand and learn how vermicomposting works. Finally, at the Bee Encounter, inspect bee nests up close. Don a protective suit and watch how they harvest pollen and nectar.
