How To Get There

Take a funicular train from the Lower Station up to Penang Hill. Then, follow the signboard directions to The Habitat.

Langur Way Canopy Walk

This canopy walk, approximately 230 metres in length and set 40 metres above the ground, goes right through the jungle to give you a bird’s eye view of the rainforest. This walkthrough the jungle is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before! On this elevated walkway, you can admire the different layers of the forest from the forest floor to the emergent canopy.

 

 

Curtis Crest Treetop Walk

The Treetop Walk is the highest 360-degree viewing platform in Penang. It provides visitors a spectacular view of the island, and on clear days, Langkawi can also be seen in the distance. Walk around the platform and marvel at the beauty of nature before you.

 

 

Trail and Gardens

The Habitat offers a 1.6 km long Nature Trail for visitors to explore the forest at their own pace and be closer to nature. Charming gardens line the way including Fern Garden, Butterfly Bank, Fragrant Garden, and Ginger and Palm Grove. Read the educational signs along the way to learn more about the various flora and fauna that reside in this enchanting rainforest.

 

 

The Flight of the Colugo

This adventure course, consisting of 5 zip lines, 1 abseil, and 1 rope bridge, is a must-try for nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike! Glide from tree to tree on the zip lines like a Flying Lemur and enjoy an aerial view of the rainforest.

Sunset Walk

This Sunset Walk combines the wonders of the Nature Trail and Treetop Walk to give its visitors an unforgettable evening. Start with a Guided Nature Walk with trained naturalists and then, head over to the Treetop Walk to watch the sunset. The highest viewing point on the island offers a sunset view unlike any other. 

End your visit with a Guided Night Walk through the Nature Trail by lantern light. You may catch a glimpse of some exotic animals including Flying Lemur, Giant Flying Squirrel, Penang Gecko, and many others.
