Experience an Early Winter This Weekend at Snow City!

In Singapore, there are many ways to escape the sultry weather outdoors. You can get wild and wet at Wild Wild Wet, refresh your senses at Gardens by the Bay, or just fly with the wind at iFly Indoor Skydiving.

But if you want real winter vibes that will let you reuse that expensive winter coat you wore on your South Korea winter trip, head to Snow City Singapore where it’s winter all year round! The first indoor snow park in the country, Snow City is a fun and educational Arctic-themed attraction that always has something new and exciting to offer.

Whether you’re a regular or new visitor, below are some of the best things to do at Snow City and tips to make the most out of your arctic adventure!

Arctic Snow Slide via Snow City

There are five zones you can explore with your snow play ticket. The Arctic Snow Playground and the Snow Field combine fun and learning—the most ideal for kids. The Traditional Inuit’s Home & The Mezzanine zone lets you live like an Inuit, dash through the snow on a sleigh, and play amidst a magical snowfall.

Meanwhile, you can find one of the best features at the Arctic Snow Slide. Here, you can go on an exhilarating slide down a 60-meter snow slope, equivalent to a three-story building! Lastly, the fifth zone is the Shaman’s Souvenir Shop where you can shop for items to remind you of your adventure at Snow City.

Plan your winter outfit

via Snow City

Your Snow City Singapore ticket already includes free use of a coat and boots, but it’s good to be ready with your own apparel too. It’s also the perfect chance for you to flaunt the winter attire that’s been buried in your closet.

Note that it is required to wear long pants and socks with your boots. As part of the facility’s safety measures, a face mask is also mandatory. Gloves and waterproof pants are available for rent, and socks are sold at Snow City as well. If you have low cold tolerance or have kids with you, wear extra layers of warm clothes.

Download PictureAir for your photos

via Snow City

Cameras and smartphones are not allowed inside Snow City’s snow chamber. But worry not because there are PictureAir photographers that will snap your photos while you have fun in the snow. You may opt to get your printed photos from Suki’s Shutterbar. Or, you can purchase soft copies on the PictureAir app so you can instantly share your photos online. Getting your photos can be pretty expensive, so choose your best shots carefully!

Bring extra clothes

There’s a chance that your clothes will get wet when you play a lot in the snow. It would be good to pack a change of light clothes, so you can also return to the warm Singapore weather comfortably. Snow City has one-dollar rental lockers to keep your belongings safe.
