What to wear and bring: ★What to bring - Outerwear (top and bottoms) - Mid-layer - Underwear - Waterproof trekking shoes up to the ankles - Thick socks - Gloves (both thick and thin) - Knit hat - Backpack - Warm clothing (down jacket, etc.) - Lunch and drinks (instant noodles are acceptable; hot water will be provided by the guide) - Poles - Crampons (6 or more spikes) - Sunglasses ★What to wear - Underwear: Mountaineering gear Fiber or wool materials (Heattech is not suitable as it will get cold with sweat) - Mid-layer: Fleece, etc. (not necessarily for mountain climbing) - Outerwear: Waterproof mountain climbing rainwear (top and bottom) - Cold weather clothing: Down jacket, etc. - Hat: Warm enough to cover your ears (no pom-poms as you will be wearing a helmet) - Gloves: Thick (for skiing or mountain climbing) and thin (like the kind sold at convenience stores) ★ Crampons 6-10 spikes are recommended (4 spikes are not allowed).
