Brisbane

The itinerary was pretty good, and I was quite satisfied with it personally. However, the tour fee didn't include the round-trip boat fare. I didn't check carefully when booking, but later found out in the email details that it stated that the departure from Brisbane was at the bus stop next to Exit 10 on Roma Street. If you're staying in the Central area, you can walk there. The staff will collect the boat fare of 80 AUD on-site, so be prepared in cash. The boat ride is 3 hours round trip, and the bus ride is 1 hour round trip. Most of the day is spent on transportation. The actual activities include snorkeling, kayaking, and sandboarding, which takes about 3 hours. For snorkeling, you need to wear a wetsuit to avoid being bitten. The water is relatively clear, and there are many different kinds of fish. If you're lucky, you can see turtles. The instructor said we were very lucky to see turtles twice in one day, but I don't know if they don't appear often. For kayaking, if you're not a professional and are traveling with friends or family, I suggest one person control the direction and the other controls the forward movement, as this makes it easier to coordinate. Lunch is on the water. After the activities were finished, the sandboarding began. Each person could probably slide down twice, which was fast but not dangerous and very fun. Climbing back to the starting point was quite physically demanding, especially under the sun. It was recommended to wear a mask or use clothing to shield yourself from the sun, otherwise you would get covered in sand while sliding. Applying too much sunscreen would also easily leave your face covered in sand. Because I was wearing contact lenses, sand got into my eyes, and it hurt for the rest of the time. We had to leave around 2 pm. The instructors and staff would patiently explain the precautions for each activity. It was recommended that you speak English, but luckily there was an instructor from Taiwan in our group who could communicate in Chinese, although most of the time English was the main language. After returning to Brisbane, we were dismissed at the Roma Street bus stop. If you choose to travel to Brisbane, I think a day trip to Moreton Island is the most suitable because there isn't much to do around the island.
