I went with a ticket that included a night tour and show. I arrived around 6 PM and bought a 10,000 rupee cart ticket for the park on the spot (I recommend getting one!). I thought I would be able to look around freely on my own, but after waiting a bit at the entrance, I went inside with a group of about 10 people. As we walked through, the guide stopped at just the right moments to show us the light displays along the paths. (You're likely to miss them if you wander around freely!) The light displays along the paths were amazing! The lights were truly beautiful! Along the way, they took us to a place that felt like a storybook. (This might have been the night tour, as it was only for people with tickets.) Basically, everything was in Vietnamese. Even though I didn't understand much, I had a great time! The guide was very kind and explained the story to me in English. After that, only those who wanted to see the show got on a cart and went to the show area. It was a huge area, and it was just me and a Vietnamese family of four, so we could watch from wherever we wanted. The show was long, but it was really impressive and spectacular! It was a long story show with light, music, fountains, and fire. Even though I didn't understand everything, I thoroughly enjoyed it! After it was over, they took me back to the entrance in a cart, and that was the end of it. I'm not sure if there's an option to walk around on your own, but it's much larger than I imagined, so I think this course with this ticket is the most efficient way to enjoy it. It's a highly recommended place that you can enjoy even if you don't understand Vietnamese!
