Using 'kori-mochi' (frozen mochi), a traditional food from Omachi, both children and adults can easily try their hand at making mochi. Kori-mochi is a traditional winter preservation food nurtured by the harsh cold and winds of the Northern Alps. You will learn about its unique characteristics and the local food culture while making and tasting it yourself. In addition, you can experience making daifuku using fresh fruits from Nagano Prefecture. Wrap seasonal fruits to create your very own original sweets. This is a special experience where you can enjoy the fun of making and eating sweets with family and friends while discovering the traditions, culture, and culinary charm unique to Omachi.

    • - No refunds will be provided if the tour is canceled after it has started due to sudden weather changes as determined by the guide. - Those with serious health conditions such as heart disease should refrain from participating. - Participation while intoxicated is not permitted. - It gets very crowded on weekends, so please arrive early. - Please note that late arrivals will be treated as cancellations. - Elementary and junior high school students should only participate if they understand that the activity may require physical stamina and involve harsh weather conditions.

    Cancellation Policy

    • Cancellations 3 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
    • For cancellations made 2 to 2 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
    • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
    • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.

    • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
