Hotels & departure dates
- Hokuten no Oka Abashiriko Tsuruga Resort: departures on February 15 and 27, and March 1, 2 and 5
- Hotel Abashirikoso: departures on February 5, 8, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 24 and 25
- Hotel fully booked: rooms are limited, so if the planned hotel is full you will stay at another hotel of the same grade
- Room type: cannot be chosen or changed; the hotel assigns all rooms
- Tsuruga Resort: Japanese-style tatami room or Western-style room
- Hotel Abashirikoso: Japanese-Western room or Western-style room
- Tattoos: guests with tattoos (including tattoo stickers) are strictly prohibited from entering the public hot spring baths at either hotel

Children & age rules
- Children's meals: children aged 6 and under who do not take a bed do not get meals, whichever package you choose
- Under 18: travelers under 18 cannot book alone. Each adult (18 and over) may bring at most 1 traveler under 18
Booking & cancellation
- Incomplete details: if our system or customer service finds that your booking information is incomplete or incorrect, we may cancel the booking without prior notice
- Requests beyond the service: to protect tour quality and other travelers, a booking may be cancelled if excessive requests beyond the scope of service are made
- If the tour cannot run: we will contact you and offer a date change or a full refund
- After departure: no refunds once the tour has started
Meeting time & check-in
- Strict departure: the bus leaves on time. If you are not at the meeting point on time, it will not wait and we will not contact you. No refund or alternative transport is provided under any circumstances
- Check-in staff: the staff at the meeting point are not the tour guide, and no multilingual service is available at check-in
- No-show: if we cannot reach you before departure, the booking is treated as a no-show and is not refunded
Meals & dietary needs
- Food allergies: we cannot guarantee allergen-free meals. Please check the ingredients yourself; we accept no legal liability for health problems or allergic reactions caused by the meals provided
- Special diets (e.g. no beef, vegetarian): tell us when you book. If it can be arranged, we will let you know 3 days before departure. No changes can be made within 3 days of departure or on the tour day; only the standard meals will be served
Luggage
- Tell us when booking: please give the size and number of your bags when you book
- Too much luggage: if you did not tell us and your bags exceed what the bus can reasonably hold, the guide may refuse them on the day. You must store them elsewhere at your own cost. If you cannot join the tour because of this, there is no refund or compensation
On the bus
- Front seats: for safety and service reasons, staff / guide seats are in the front rows
- Vehicle size: a medium or small bus may be used depending on the number of travelers
- Delays: road conditions may delay the bus. Sudden traffic or crowded attractions may shorten sightseeing time, require a change of bus or delay the return
Weather, nature & photos
- Natural sights: drift ice, flowers, autumn leaves, starry skies and snow are natural phenomena. Weather and temperature may make them appear earlier or later, or not at all; no refund or compensation is given in that case
- Sounkyo Ice Fall Festival: held by its organizer each year from late January to early March; it may not be open on some dates
- Tour stopped by weather: if severe weather, road closures or safety concerns stop the tour after it has started, the bus will turn back once it is safe. Missed sights and meals are not replaced or refunded
- Photos: all images are for reference only. Actual scenery, vehicles or meals may differ, and no compensation, guarantee or refund is given for such differences
What to wear & bring
- Warm clothing: please bring a warm jacket
- Shoes: paths may be slippery with snow or ice, so wear non-slip shoes that are easy to walk in
- Useful items: a seat cushion, and a flashlight for dark areas
- Strollers: allowed, but some paths at the attractions may be hard to push them on
- Belongings: we are not responsible for items left on the bus; please keep your valuables with you

Reminders

In case of delays caused by traffic, weather, or other force majeure factors resulting in the cancellation of some itinerary attractions, please contact customer service. We will arrange a partial refund for you
