After picking you up from your hotel, we will drive about 2.5 hours to reach Jinshanling Great Wall
We offer 2 different hiking route options, carefully designed to suit different fitness levels and travel styles. Whether you prefer a relaxed walk or a more challenging hike, we will help plan the best route for you in advance.
1, Photography Route (approx. 2.5 hrs) with Cable up-✨Recommend
Designed for the best views and angles, this route focuses on scenic spots - perfect for capturing unforgettable moments. We will enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea on the Great Wall while waiting for the sunset. The afternoon tea break is prepared by Bite Escape, which also can be customized unpon your requestment.
2, Easy Leisure Route (approx. 1.5 hrs) with Cable up & downA shorter and gentler option, ideal if you prefer a more relaxed pace with less climbing.
Stop 2- Gubei Water Town
Duration: 3~4 hours
After visiting Jinshanling, spend a relaxed afternoon in Gubei Water Town.
Flexible town exploration: Upon arrival, enjoy the afternoon exploring Gubei Water Town at your own pace.
Optional cultural activities: Try hands-on experiences such as tie-dyeing, lantern making, or kite crafting.
Dinner in the town: Your guide can recommend suitable dining options based on your taste and schedule.
Guide support throughout: You can wander independently or have your guide accompany you with stories, local insights, and suggestions.
Tailored to your interests: Share your preferences anytime - from food choices to walking pace and cultural interests.
After dinner, around 6-7 PM depending on sunset time, head to Simatai Great Wall with cable car up and down for a memorable night experience.
Stop 3 - Simatai Great Wall
Duration: 1 hour
Experience the only section of the Great Wall of China open for night visits - a truly rare and unforgettable way to see the Wall.
You will take a cable car up and down, making the experience easy and comfortable, with around 1 hour on the Wall to enjoy the illuminated views and the magical atmosphere overlooking the mountains and Gubei Water Town below.
A unique highlight that feels completely different from any daytime visit.
Stop 4 - Gubei Water Town
Duration: 1 hour
After visiting the night section of the Great Wall, we’ll still have some time to enjoy Gubei Water Town’s live performances, such as the molten iron flower show, music light show, or fire performance.
Or, if you prefer a slower pace, we can simply sit by the river and relax for a while.
We will start heading back to downtown Beijing around 9:00 PM.
