Product Info

Float through Asheville’s vibrant heart on a guided canoe tour that blends river adventure with the city’s renowned craft beer culture. Begin your journey near the River Arts District, where your guide will provide all necessary gear and a safety briefing. Set off on the French Broad River, one of the world’s oldest waterways, and soak up the lively atmosphere as you glide past lush riverbanks and creative neighborhoods.

Your group will paddle to three unique stops: Wrong Way Cabins, offering scenic river views; Wedge Brewery, known for its rotating taps and local art; and New Belgium Brewery, a riverside favorite with a spacious outdoor area. At each stop, enjoy the chance to sample Asheville’s freshest craft brews and local bites—think wood-fired pizzas, gourmet sandwiches, and seasonal snacks (food and drinks at your own expense). Non-drinkers can explore nearby art studios, riverside parks, or simply relax by the water.

The route is tailored to your group’s interests and the day’s conditions, ensuring a flexible and social experience. Dogs are welcome on board, and your guide will ensure everyone feels comfortable, regardless of canoeing experience. The tour concludes at New Belgium Brewery, where you can continue your adventure or easily arrange transport back to your starting point. Leave your car overnight if needed, or enjoy a scenic riverside walk or short rideshare back to Hominy Creek.
