The instructors are certified nerikiri instructors and Japanese tea instructors, so even first-timers can participate with peace of mind. No fire or knives are used in the nerikiri making, and before the experience, you will be asked to wash and disinfect your hands and wear gloves for hygiene management. A gas stove is used for hojicha roasting, but the instructor will proceed with safety in mind and preparations to prevent burns are made. This Japanese cultural experience is popular with individuals, families, friends, and even overseas visitors.
