-What you can expect-
Enjoy an introductory workshop to artisanal ceramics in one of the best neighborhoods of Barcelona. For this activity you will not need any previous experience or skills: an expert teacher will show you all the basic techniques and by the end of the 3 hours workshop you'll have crafted your own ceramic.

You’ll learn about the ceramics process, clays and decoration techniques. All you need to do is wear the aprons get your hands dirty: make your own cup, bowl or plate and enjoy a fun and interesting experience. You’ll learn skills ceramists use sculpting by hand and, after your form is complete, you learn to texture and add decorations.

  • Know in advance:No prior ceramics experience is necessary, but please remember to arrive on time as key ceramic skills are taught at the beginning

  • The workshop will be held in English and Spanish by a bilingual instructor

  • Ceramics take a bit of time to dry. Yours can be picked up or mailed after about two weeks (shipping is not included in the workshop and will depend on the destination). You can leave your creation and select one already in the workshop (€25 each)

  • Please note that the activity is easier with short fingernails

  • The experience is suitable for children ages 12 or older. Minimum one adult per child. No exceptions

  • The activity is accessible to people with limited mobility. There is a small step at the entrance required for historical preservation

  • If you are coming with children please inform the supplier in advance of the number and their ages so they can prepare accordingly

  • Worktables are height adjustable to accommodate special needs
