-What you can expect-
Visit the fishing village of San Vicente de la Barquera, whose port was and continues to be the heart of the municipality's activity. You will love the historical complex formed by the Church, the Castle, and the Bay. Later on, head towards Comillas: along the coastal path you will admire the privileged environment of the Oyambre Natural Park, with its estuaries, beaches, dunes, and cliffs.

The second stop will be Comillas, the only town with modernist influence in Cantabria. You will be surprised by the heritage complex formed by the Sobrellano Palace and Chapel, El Capricho and the Pontifical University. In Comillas, you will have free time for shopping or to visit Gaudí's El Capricho, one of the most captivating works of the famous architect.

Next, travel to Santillana del Mar, one of the most beautiful and famous medieval towns in Spain. Walk through its cobbled streets and admire its architectural complex made up of mansions, towers, and palaces, and crowned by the Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana, a jewel of Romanesque architecture in Cantabria. In Santillana, you will have free time for lunch, if you want to.

As a final touch to this very complete day, you will travel to the Altamira Museum to visit its Neocave - a scale replica of the original cave - declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. This will allow you to travel back to the early days of the human being.
