Less crowded than its famous neighbor Pompeii, but equally fascinating, Herculaneum offers an intimate and unique experience: intact Roman houses, colorful frescoes, everyday objects frozen in time, and even miraculously preserved charred wooden structures. It's a leap into the daily life of the inhabitants of a city frozen in time by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D.

We handle the ticket logistics for you and, the day before your booking, we will provide you with all the information you need to make your visit as stress-free as possible. All you have to do is bring your questions and curiosity about Herculaneum and its inhabitants.

At the end of the guided tour, you can stay inside the ruins and continue your visit independently, but keep in mind that each exit is final.

It is also possible to choose a combo option that includes the guided tour of Herculaneum as well as the entrance ticket to the National Park of Vesuvius, with bus transportation included. In this case, guests will be picked up by bus outside Naples Central Station and taken to Mount Vesuvius. With their entrance ticket, they will have about two hours to explore the volcano at their own pace. The bus will then take them to Herculaneum, where the guided tour of the archaeological site will begin. At the end of the tour, the return bus transfer to Naples is also included.
